My
Club already has its own dedicated web site. Why should we have
a page on socialtennis.com?
Your
page on socialtennis.com would effectively be your Club Notice Board
where notices can be ‘put up’ or ‘taken down’
as required at No Cost.
This can be simply done by clicking on ‘log in’ using
your dedicated ‘User Name’ and ‘Password’.
This means that the Page can be updated by anyone given the necessary
authority by the Club. For example Team Captains could update the
site with results immediately after matches have been played.
Generally
dedicated Club Web Sites have been designed specifically for the
Club by a professional Web Site Designer at a cost of several hundreds
of pounds. Updating the site would normally have to be carried out
by the Web Site Designer and it is more than likely that a cost
would be involved.
A
link from your main website home page entitled, say, ‘Club
Notice Board’ to www.socialtennis.com/yourclub
could be placed on your main web site and this Notice Board can
then be kept up to date by the Secretary, Team Captains or anyone
else nominated by the club.
I have forgotten my Password or User Name
In
the login section of the club/Coach pages there is a link to an automatic
password request. Just enter your registered email address and your
account details will be sent directly to you.
How
can I update My Page?
You
edit your page by logging in. After you login all your details will
be displayed and you can amend and change your page as often as you
wish..
How can I set up My Homepage?
To
set-up you own socialtennis.com/your-club page just simply
fill in the On-line Application Form. You will then be notified when
your page has been activated. You will then be able to log in and
make changes to your page, keep your notice board up-to-date, etc
Is it possible to register a domain name (eg www.anyclub.com) and
use my socialtennis.com club homepage?
Yes this is fine. All you need to do is register your domain name
and then when it asks for a forwarding address for your homepage
just enter the url that appears when you view your club homepage
(ie.http://www.socialtennis.com/your-club-name).
What if I no longer require my page on socialtennis.com?
In the unlikely event that you no longer require your page, just
contact us using the registered email address and your account will
be removed
Is it possible to have additional information displayed on my socialtennis.com
page?
If you require additional information or fields please contact us
and we will try to arrange an alteration to the details. There may
be a small cost for this.
Is It possible to have my Tennis Club /Coach logo displayed on my socialtennis.com page?
Yes just uplaod your image in .jpg format on application or upload
later when updating your page. My
problem is not Covered by this Help File If
your problem is not covered just let us know and we will get back
to you as soon as we can
