Dear Member,
The Committee are pleased to announce the appointment of Jenny Broughall as our new head coach who will be commencing her duties on the 14th September 2009.
Jenny joins us highly recommended from her post as Tennis Development Officer for North Powys. In addition to being a qualified DCA coach she has considerable experience with organising junior coaching junior coaching programmes to county level. As a player she won the Welsh Junior under 14 singles championship and in 2001 the under 18 singles title. Jenny went on to achieve a World Junior ranking and World professional senior ranking in 2005; her British senior ranking was 19. During her time at the University of Bath she represented the Great Britain University Team on a tour of the American Universities.
I am sure she will be a great asset to the Club and would ask all Members to make her welcome and give her any assistance she may require.
In addition to the junior coaching programme Jenny will provide senior and junior individual or group coaching; organize club nights if required and occasional club afternoons.
