 New pavilion built completed in 2008 with outdoor patio and entertainment area.

SHREWSBURY LAWN TENNIS CLUB CARPET COURTS UPDATE

The Committee are conscious of the need to communicate actions to date to meet the proposal from last year’s EGM to construct  2 carpet courts on tarmacs 4 and 5. This was to be phase 2 after the 3 new tarmac courts were laid. Funds for the new tarmacs and fencing came from remaining existing club reserves following the clubhouse rebuilt. The Committee is now reviewing options to renew the 2 courts that are "toward" the end of their lifespan.
