Welcome to Dore & Totley Tennis Club

Dore & Totley is a small and friendly local club where new and existing members can always be sure of a warm welcome.

The club underwent complete redevelopment in 2006 and offers excellent facilities with superb all-weather courts and a new clubhouse.

Club nights, held on Monday and Wednesday evenings, are the focal point of club activity and provide an excellent opportunity for all full members to come along, meet other players and mix in. Players of all standards are welcome, including invited juniors.

The Daytime Ladies Club, on Monday and Tuesday mornings, provides social play throughout the year and is particularly popular with Daytime (off-peak) members.

There are plenty of opportunities for match play, with eight teams competing in the Sheffield and District Summer Leagues and one in the Winter League. In 2009 the Midweek Mixed A Team again finished Champions of Division 1 (for the third year running). The Ladies A Team were runners-up in Division 1 and in the Mens League our A team were runners-up in Division 2, winning promotion to Division 1 for the 2010 season.

Social events are held at the clubhouse throughout the year, giving members a chance to catch up, meet new members and enjoy some refreshments – as well as some tennis.

Coaching is available for all ages and abilities, individually or in small groups. The Junior Coaching programmes range from Mini-tennis (5-8 year-olds) through to Intermediate (up to 18 years).

Families are always welcome at Dore & Totley and receive a discount on membership fees.
